Bank gives $75,000 to north state group

U.S. Bank has made a $75,000, three-year commitment to Innovate North State, a Chico-based group whose mission is to support and grow manufacturing employment.

The gift includes the title sponsor of Innovate North State’s Manufacturing RePatriation Summit at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in Chico in early 2013.

As part of the investment, U.S. Bank Vice President/District Manager Robert Stanton will join the Innovate North State board of directors.

Next year’s manufacturing summit will explore opportunities associated with “in-sourcing” manufacturing while showcasing manufacturers in the north state, according to organizers.

Innovate North State is a public/private partnership established earlier this year. Go to for more information.
