LONDON & MIRAMAR, Fla.–()–Arise
Virtual Solutions, the leading global provider of virtual business
process outsourcing (BPO) solutions, announced that as a follow up to
the Arise Westminster event in London last week where more than a dozen
MPs attended in support of onshoring UK work, Arise was invited to
attend a business session with Nick Clegg, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM)
of the United Kingdom. The meeting was hosted by Members of Parliament
(MPs) Dan Rogerson and Steve Gilbert from Cornwall, both of whom Arise
has been working with during the past two years on a homeworking agenda.
Arise’s Dickon Moon, Director of Strategic Sourcing EMEA, attended the
meeting to discuss homeworking and the virtualisation of business
services in the UK.
“We
were honored to be able to share our formula for success on homeshoring
with Mr. Clegg and appreciated his understanding of the role virtual
business will play in bringing work opportunities back onshore in the UK
in the future.”
Joining 20 business leaders at the session, Nick Clegg heard how Arise
has been bringing work opportunities to rural communities and was also
made aware of the potential of the Arise model in helping government
departments support a homeworking agenda and the virtualisation of
business services.
Dickon Moon, Director of Strategic Sourcing EMEA for Arise, said, “We
were honored to be able to share our formula for success on homeshoring
with Mr. Clegg and appreciated his understanding of the role virtual
business will play in bringing work opportunities back onshore in the UK
in the future.”
Arise continues to work closely with key political leaders, on both
sides of the Atlantic, and has been invited to host an event at the
Scottish Parliament in the autumn.
