The purpose of the luncheon was for the Chinese to meet Botswana entrepreneurs and discuss potential cooperation on various business fields, including exploration of mineral resources, energy, energy saving and environmentally-friendly appliances, environmental protection, agriculture, real estate, bio-engineering machinery manufacturing and textile.
“The success of this seminar will go a long way in contributing positively towards our economic transformation, which will in turn,” CPAFFC vice-president, Feng Zuoku said. He noted that China and Botswana enjoy a profound traditional friendship.
“Since the establishment of diplomatic ties 37 years ago, the two countries always treat each other with mutual respect and equality,” said Zuoku. He added that the bilateral relationship has steadily developed and strengthened, political mutual trust and fruitful achievement of cooperation in economy and trading and other fields.
