Mould-maker Hasco has brought out several new products to meet the growth in demand for tooling and mould components.

The Z1545 gear housing for stack moulds is designed to simplify and standardise plate movement with complete reproducibly. It will also simplify the operation and maintenance of complex moulds. The Z1555 gear wheel and Z1557 transmission shaft provide even more variation for the design of unscrewing gears for demoulding threaded parts.

At the same time Hasco is now also offering DLC coated ejectors for very small applications with the Z443 stepped ejector pin starting at 0.5mm diameter. Another completely new solution for cooling core pins directly is the Z9672 diverting element, allowing a cooling circuit to pass directly through the path of the pin with very little additional space required for sealing, thanks to its clever design.

Neil Moseley, managing director of Hasco in the UK, says: “Our strength is the worldwide availability of more than 100,000 mould tooling products, along with a strong local technical support to advise the best solution for our customer’s needs. Innovation is also key to Hasco’s success, as well as a strong focus on our core business of mould components. We are helping sectors challenged by the trends of reshoring and the need to supply, manufacture or support locally.”
