An SUV slammed into a home Thursday, April 4, 2013, in southwest Denver and the driver was taken to a local hospital. The incident happened about 6 a.m. at 5195 W. Gill Place, said Mark Watson, a Denver Fire Department spokesman.
The residents of the home were awakened by the “grinding” of the vehicle as it crashed through the front of the single-story home on a corner lot just off of South Sheridan Boulevard.
