Harry MoserBIRMINGHAM, Alabama — An expert on bringing manufacturingjobs back to the U.S. will speak Tuesday to the state’s business and economicdevelopment leaders.
Harry Moser is founder of the Chicago-based Reshoring Initiative, which was recently named by Frost & Sullivan’s Manufacturing Leadership Council as a winner of the 2014 Manufacturing Leadership Award in the category of industry advocacy.
The group says its mission is to return good, well-paying manufacturing jobs to the U.S. by helping companies more accurately assess the total cost of offshoring.
The Economic Development Partnership of Alabama is hosting Moser’s speech, which will be held at 9:30 a.m. at the Alabama Power Co. Auditorium at 600 18th St. North in Birmingham. The event is invitation only.
